Don D. (Arachnoid Cyst)

I was 35 years old and never had any medical problems. I was working construction one day on the side of a building and had finished my work for the day. I went to put the ladder on top of the truck and a gust of wind came up and wrenched my back. I went to the hospital and while filling out the paperwork I passed out. When I woke up the nurses were asking me about my seizure medicine. I told them I don't have seizures and they said I had just had two of them. I later had an MRI that showed an arachnoid cyst 7cm+5cm+5cm on the brain stem. Since January 2000 I have had 6 brain surgeries,five to drain the cyst and one to place a shunt in the cyst. |
